Bill Troxell  -  bassist, guitarist, vocalist

Bill was born January 30, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio.  He started playing guitar at age 7.  He took lessons until he was 10 then started playing by ear.  He would drive his parents crazy by playing the same songs on his stereo over and over until he had them down perfect.  Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, and other bands of the day, he and some schoolmates formed a band.  They played some school gigs and had fun.  The money they made had to go to rent the equipment.

Bill played off and on over the years but nothing serious until September 2000 when he became the bass player for the Carvin Jones Band.  In the 4 years that he has been playing in the band he has played in 19 countries world wide.  He has played with the likes of Buddy Miles, Ten Years After, Vanilla Fudge, The Animals, Jeff Beck, John Mayall, Wishbone Ash, Buddy Guy, Gary Moore, Clive Bunker; to mention a few.

Bill and his wife Sandy live in Mesa, Az.  He has three children and four grandchildren who support him fully.

God has given Bill a gift and now he can share it with the world.
